Think Volunteer cooperates with projects that deal with the protection and conservation of animals, nature and the environment. Giving education and information is also an important role here.

Animal & environment protection

The habitat of the orang utans has drastically decreased in the last years. This is mainly due to deforestation and logging, mining and forest fires.
We work with programs that save various wild animals in Indonesia, such as orang utans, sun bears, turtles and birds. A rehabilitation program is taking place, to make it possible to place the animals back in the wild, but protection, shelter and care are also daily tasks within the organisations.

These projects are committed to improving the welfare of the animals in the community. Through proactive education, advocacy, campaigns, rescue, networking with related organisations and communities. We strive to release animals from suffering by offering medical care, castration and sterilisation, adoption for lost and neglected animals. We also teach children and adults about animal welfare and nature conservation.
