Volunteer Romy!
My name is Romy and I do volunteer work in Bali for 2 months at Yayasan Widya Guna.
While I stay here I want to help and support the children at school as much as possible. That's why I need your help too!
Welcome at Yayasan Widya Guna
Yayasan Widya Guna is a children's learning center where currently 45 children with physical or mental disabilities are getting education and have a place where they can be themselves! These children are not accepted in public schools. The teachers and volunteers at Widya Guna do their utmost to support the children in their needs as best as possible. The organization has to deal with all kinds of disabilities. In the video you can see a day at Yayasan Widya Guna.
To ensure that all children receive the support they need, the school uses worksheets for each child to enable them to develop at their own level. Unfortunately, there are currently too few computers and printers to create the amount of worksheets for the children.
Crowdfunding
That's why I started the crowdfunding for Yayasan Widya Guna. My goal is to raise €1000 to buy a computer and printer. This increases the quality of the education of the children, so that they can continue to develop themselves! Because they deserve a good learning environment, right?
Compensation
If you donate €20 or more you will receive a recipe book (as a PDF file) made by the Piduh Cafe in the school. This is a place where young adults work who have worked in the school and thus worked themselves up.
