You wake up not knowing if you are going to eat that day. Dreaming about what you want to be when you grow up is out of the question, because you don't have the time and money to go to school. You are forced to help mom and dad earn money. Unfortunately, this is the harsh reality for street children in Yogyakarta. Many children face a gray future that is accompanied by fear and uncertainty.

Fortunately, there is the organization 'DreamHouse'. Dreamhouse takes care of these children and gives them love, warmth, safety and education. By providing these basic needs, the children can focus on developing and discovering their qualities. Children can dream about a colorful future again!

The current living environment does not contribute to Dreamhouse's vision, which is to create a safe, warm and homely environment where children can develop and enjoy being a child. The facilities are not adequate because there is simply no budget for this. Dreamhouse's great wish is to offer a safe and homely living environment, where even more children can be helped. How? By building their own place that provides the children with a hygienic, safe and warm environment in which they can develop optimally.
